Did you see the movie "Moonstruck," where Cher's character slaps her husband, played by Nicholas Cage, and yells "Snap out of it!"
That just happened to me, but metaphorically. Oh, and not by Cher.
You may already know my two friends and associates, Judith and Jim, as they are now known across the Internet.
They are long time highly respected psychologists and best selling authors. We call ourselves, "Two Shrinks And A Marketing Guy."
After several long dinners, hearing my stories, they've "slapped" me with a challenge.
Frankly, this scares the heck out of me.
Years ago I did what is now known as Intuitive Coaching. I fell into it. A friend or someone close to me would be in a discussion, ask for advice or just my thoughts and it was like a switch turned me on.
I began working with actors, producers and many others who were stuck in some way or another. I was completely fascinated with them and this process.
I had no frame of reference for doing this, but it wasn't something to learn, it was to do. So, it flowed out.
My regular life went on while this shadow life of "coaching," which is not what we called it, went on.
I'd be called to a movie or TV set to work with someone in crisis. Or be introduced to someone living in a Bel Air mansion who wanted my services.
I was so young, in my early 20's, and I had no idea where this stuff was coming from. It scared me. I even told people not to tell anyone. I was fearful of ridicule. But I learned to trust it.
Yet the famous and the rich were paying me to deal with their challenges? I could hardly get out of my own way. But it was working.
Besides, I was trying to make my way in show biz. I was conflicted and frankly, at the time, had no one to turn to for advice.
Even when I managed the LA Playboy Club, people would come to me, we'd sit in a back booth during a show and work on a problem or whatever was needed at the time.
While I didn't want notoriety about my personal work, I was fascinated by it. I later produced and hosted some TV shows on powers of the mind and the unknown gifts that people have, and not some people either. All of us. We are ALL intuitive.
I was invited to teach a course at UCLA's Experimental College on the subject, especially on intuition and how to develop and use it.
I did a lot of research at the Society For Psychical Research in Beverly Hills, an interest group headed up mostly by scientists and psychologists who were eager to discover more about human potential.
I subsequently became the president of that group. I still hid my own abilities. I did not openly work with others on a one-to-one level, but they kept coming.
I was speaking on the topic to large and small groups, being interviewed by the media, always talking about others.
I was on Regis Philbin's show, not the current one, and he knew about my intuitive work. I asked that this not be mentioned. He did it anyway. I explained that this is not psychic, in the sense of readings, etc., though it sometimes seemed that way.
It freaked me out, being on that show, feeling so exposed.
Frankly, I couldn't handle it. I was young, unwilling to listen to my own inner voice and I didn't want to be known for that. What if someone ridiculed me?
I was besieged. I did not want to be a guru, I did not want to be labeled a psychic, nor could I handle, at that age, the energy vampires, people who could not get enough.
Judith and Jim have very lovingly urged, okay, pushed me to be more open with my true inner work again.
As I moved into marketing, entrepreneurship, consulting and coaching, all of those abilities still came into play. Since they were unexpected, clients couldn't quite understand it sometimes. So, I shut down more and more.
I wrote a piece for my blog last weekend titled, "You Deserve Financial Distress (?)" It came from an intuitive place to do that.
I've tried to tiptoe back into this intuitive world a couple of times, but quickly retreated.
Even though I've written a book and given hundreds of talks about overcoming rejection and fear I've been fearful of rejection and ridicule on this topic for a long time.
I'm still a marketing guy. I'm still a man whose clients have included Fortune 500 companies to start-ups and coaching entrepreneurs. But now, out of "the closet," with the intuitive part of this, here I go again.
I've already had a few people asking me about this and wanting to book sessions. 1 session can be difficult, so I suggest at least two within 2 weeks.
I'm having a special invitational call tomorrow night, Thursday, August 21st, at 6 PM Pacific. I'll explain more about this specific work, how it can be accomplished with you regardless of what you want to concentrate on.
I'll tell you more about what it is and what it isn't. I'm going to get started with this by booking two sessions, but far less than what I usually charge. Register for the call here:

Plus, I'll be gifting each new client this week with a series of online sessions about your power and intuition that you can take anytime you like. The value is close to $400.
There are only a limited number of time slots for these next few weeks due to my other work, so that will be first come first served.
If you want to book your sessions now, you may do so here. Once you've done that, I'll be in touch with you about times, etc.
Each 2-session package is $297. Each session is between 45 minutes to an hour, depending on circumstances. Reserve your spot here:

We can cover any area of your life you want. You may even take advantage of this pricing to work on your Internet business or get straight out marketing strategy. After all, I'm still a "marketing guy."
More power to you,
Tom
