LAS VEGAS, NV - NOW - After over twenty years of thinking about it, a membership organization has been created for procrastinators. Founder, Tom Justin said that, “Procrastinators Anonymous ( www.procrastinatorsfreedom.com ) was formed to provide proof to anyone accused of being a procrastinator that they are, in fact, not a procrastinator.”
When asked to explain this seemingly contradicting statement, Justin replied; “No self-disrespecting procrastinator is going to join any organization like this. They'll put it in their 'things to do' notepad, they'll bookmark the website, etc., but not sign up. So, the website and structure is designed to benefit those wrongly accused of procrastination. The act of joining proves they aren't procrastinators.” Justin said.
People who suffer from disappointment, rejection, humiliation, and failure are no strangers to Tom Justin. He wrote a book for them called “How To Take No For An Answer And Still Succeed,” ( www.howtotakeno.com ) so, he says, it only seemed natural for this idea to float to the surface.
“My ex-fiancé occasionally accused me of procrastinating.” Said Justin. “Since I'm a consultant, writer and strategist, it's not uncommon for me to sit back in my chair, just thinking. Sometimes may look like a nap, which it is not. I'm really working! How do you prove a negative? Well, I found a way to prove it. I only wish I'd had this then.”
So, what is this anonymous organization for procrastinators? Justin provides a free special report that outlines the problems of being wrongly accused of procrastinating. After that, the option, for a small fee, is to join Procrastinators Anonymous. A membership certificate, suitable for printing and framing can then be downloaded.
When asked if he'd abandoned the idea of helping procrastinators, Justin brightened up. “No! In fact, unlike other anonymous programs, we can cure them! First, this is not a 12-step program; it's a 1-step program. I mean, we're talking about procrastinators.”
When asked to explain his “cure,” he replied, “Easy! A procrastinator can read a free special report at www.ProcrastinatorsFreedom.com and suddenly realize that he or she is tired of being a procrastinator and decides to take action. They can join, then get a Certificate of Membership and then gets terminated from the membership the next day and voila! They're cured!” He said, smiling. “Then they can go back to their nap, I mean, their thinking.” He said.
Justin explained that they are later terminated by the organization's Bored
Director, usually within 24 hours. “When you read the special report,” He said, “You'll find the Terms of Membership are quite clear. Membership is open only to procrastinators. “The very act of joining proves you're no procrastinator. So, and this is a good thing, you are terminated, which gives you a second piece of third party proof that you are no procrastinator. That termination letter can hang right next to your Membership Certificate as evidence.”
Justin noted that people from around the world were coming to the site for the Special Report. Even a couple of noted psychologists and best selling authors, Dr. Judith Sherven and Dr. James Sniechowski have commented on it.
"As a clinical psychologist in private practice I worked with dozens of people suffering from procrastination. I wish I'd had Tom Justin's "Procrastinators Anonymous" as a referral resource because it's a profoundly brilliant and humorous freedom-factory. Just take a look for yourself! "
“Tom Justin's ability to whipsaw your intellect with humorous double-turns and linguistic triple back-flips catches you and keeps you safe in the palm-pilot of his caring and kind support. Don't procrastinate another minute. Rush right into the joy-ride of "Procrastinators Anonymous."
When asked what's in the future for Procrastinators Anonymous, Justin shrugs his shoulders and looked down at his coffee cup. “Well, it's kind of lonely. I mean, the success of our organization means that no one shows up for meetings because they've been kicked out. The coffee pot is always full and you won't see a bunch of people smoking and pacing outside the meeting hall. Our success is empty chairs.”
As for his future, Justin says he has a lot of thinking to do. He hopes his next girlfriend will understand. If not, he points to the framed Membership certificate on his office wall, and right next to that, the letter of termination from his own organization. After all, as he points out, the act of joining Procrastinators Anonymous makes you ineligible.

Hi my name is Mike...Hi Mike!
I've been a procrastinator for most of my life. I didn't know there was a support group out there to help. I guess you have to first recognize that your a P-R-O-C-R-A-S-T-I-N-A-T-O-R...I don't like saying the word! I believe I have passed this life threatening curse on to my son. It must be in the family DNA. Before I start going to meetings to sit in a room full of my PA peers with the same "put life on hold" disease, I want to try this certified put-it-in writing program first. Maybe I need to be hypnotized? Or perhaps
I was already hypnotized as a child to become what I am today (a near worthess so & so)! I am going to take it one step at a time and one day at a time. Thanks Tom, I realy needed this push to prove to the world I can beat it, you know (P-R-O-C-A-S-T-I-N-A-T-I-O-N...don't make me say it!
